The girl in room 105 by Chetan bhagat: a book

review by Deepika Tulsyan

The girl in room 105: this was my first novel and I had no idea about Chetan bhagat at that time but after I completed this book I was satisfied I won’t say that this was the best novel. but this novel basically satisfied my Bollywood excitements. The suspense is good even I like the ending and the setting is perfect the best part about this book is the humor. The book is about love, crime, friendship, betrayal. The plot is strong and compelling

Zara lone a Kashmiri Muslim girl. She lived in the IIT campus hostel in room 105. Keshav Rajpurohit a Rajasthani boy fell in love with Zara but soon they broke up because of the family issues and Zara moved on and got engaged to Raghu and Keshav worked at a coaching center with his friend Saurabh. Moving on for Keshav was impossible after four years he still misses her and one day he messaged her that he us coming to her hostel to meet her and when he arrived there with his friend Saurabh he found her dead body. Story from here had some great twist and turns.

As Chetan bhagat is famous for his works in romance genre but this suspense novel is well written as the language is easy to understand but at the same time it is a little uncoordinated. Though there are some Hindi language abuse, and some people might get offended. But as for other aspect the book is okay. I won’t highly recommend this book, but for beginner this book is a nice one as it has a simple and understandable writing.

Nowadays people fall in love.

They swipe left and right………
