Nothing left to lose by Kristy Moseley: A book review by Deepika Tulsyan

Nothing left to lose: Moseley bring out the best emotion of a person in a most attractive way. The author silently takes you to her world and it feels like everything is going around you and it feels like you are the part of the world. The setting created by Moseley is exceptionally great and at one point you will start rooting for the characters. Though the plot of the story is not very unique it is same as “Always you” and “the boy who sneaks in my bedroom” are also by Kirsty Moseley. It was weird to read the whole book again with different characters. But I love the way how Moseley created the whole scenario which brings out the emotional feelings of a person.

Annabelle spencer witness her boyfriend murder at the age of sixteen the murderer took her and tortured her for months later she got rescued and the murderer went to jail. After 3 years her father appointed Ashton Taylor as her bodyguard who was a SWAT agent. As Ashton and Anabelle met each other they instantly got attracted to each other. I guess that’s kind of absurd who gets attracted to each other at their first meet. The story is little long and unnecessary. But I still like the protective hero such as Ashton. The entry of antagonist was very late as he appeared at the end. But overall the book is good and engaging.

The description and dialogue are unique, Moseley choice of word is stellar, compelling

“Don’t worry Ashton, he can’t hurt me anymore, no one can.

I have nothing left to lose,” I said honestly.”
